It was a motivating and inspiring final day in Las Vegas at the CENTURY 21 Global Conference. The morning began with a fresh round of learning sessions, including a high energy session lead by Jackie “Coach Jackie” Leavenworth on the subject of pricing a home just right. Jackie gave expert tips, lead in-class discussions and provided System members with actionable next steps to have greater success with their listings.

The mid-morning and afternoon sessions caused quite a stir with the arrival of Bravo TV star and realtor, Josh Altman. His two sessions “Become a million dollar realtor” and “Negotiation and the power of leverage” were some of the best attended all week. Josh gave superb advice on the basics of being a great sales person and how he’s generated such buzz and a steady stream of referrals. Josh was also kind enough to smile for hundreds of photos with our System members after his sessions.

In the afternoon, all conference attendees gathered for the final General Session which began by honoring all of our top producers, teams, offices and companies. Congratulations to all of our award winners, simply outstanding work!

We also received a video message from Josef Newgarden, the driver of the CENTURY 21 IndyCar. We’re looking forward to a great season with Josef, starting in May.

The highlight of the final General Session was certainly keynote speaker Alison Levine. Alison was the team captain of the first American women’s Everest expedition and is also an adjunct professor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Alison shared with the audience the lessons she has learned climbing mountains that are also applicable to success in business and success in life. Some of her key points:

  • Learn to do more with less
  • Keep asking questions until you get to yes – do whatever it takes
  • Remember that sometimes you have to move backward to make progress, that is part of the process
  • Feeling afraid is ok, but complacency kills you
  • Tolerate failure, you need to in order to progress and innovate

We were all inspired by Alison’s incredible strength, bravery and positive attitude.

After the keynote, System members were treated to candy, chips and fresh, hot movie popcorn before heading back into the theater to enjoy a performance from comedian and impressionist Gordie Brown.

To end the night, the CENTURY 21 social media team hosted a Tweet Up at Yolos Mexican Grill. The event was a great chance for System members who have connected on social media to finally meet in person. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Though this year’s conference has come to an end, registration for next year at The Mirage in Las Vegas is already open. Register now and we can’t wait to see you again next year!
